🩺 Medical Coder cum Insurance Claims Processor
Responsible for patient insurance verification, prior approvals, accurate medical coding and timely submission of insurance claims through emails or portals, ensuring maximum reimbursement and minimum rejections in line with regulatory and insurance company guidelines.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a medical, nursing, pharmacy or allied health field
- Coding certification: CPC (AAPC) or CCS (AHIMA)
- Freshers or 1-2 years of experience in medical coding and insurance claims in UAE/GCC hospitals
- Hands-on experience with GCC hospital information systems
- Good knowledge of UAE insurance plans, TPAs, co-pay and approval processes
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills and MS Excel
Key Responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance eligibility, policy validity, network and coverage before services
- Explain benefits, co-payment, deductible and non-covered services to patients; ensure correct patient share is collected
- Check whether the prior approvals from insurance companies and TPAs were obtained or not and follow up
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and dental codes based on medical records
- Coordinate with all stakeholders for missing or unclear documentation
- Prepare, scrub and submit claims within submission deadlines
- Review remittance advice, post payments and reconcile insurance receivables
- Analyze rejections, correct and resubmit claims, and prepare appeals within the allowed time
- Follow coding standards, insurance contracts and patient confidentiality policies

Educational Qualification
- Preference for candidates with 10th Standard or above for Security Guard positions
- Preference for 12th Standard to Graduate level candidates for Supervisor roles
- Former Home Guards, Civil Defence personnel and Ex-Service personnel receive additional preference
- Previous experience in security services is an advantage
